Shan Information Bureau (SIB) is a non-profit Shan media
organization established on 10 December 2005, by new generation of Shan State.
Our mission is-
To provide uncensored news, accurate and reliable information, analysis and commentary on political crisis in Shan State and Burma to Shan people and all ethnic groups in Shan State and Burma.
To publish news and information on violations of human rights against Shan (Tai) people and ethnic groups in Shan State.
To promote increased understanding among Shan people and ethnic groups of human rights, right to know, right to report, right to criticize and freedom
To educate the Shan people and ethnic groups in Shan State about the historical, cultural and linguistic heritage of Shan State.
